Kelley has a caring and sympathetic nature which she brings to her practice. She is a professionally qualified homeopathic practitioner and registered member of the Society of Homeopaths.
Kelley graduated from the Contemporary College of Homeopathy in 2012, after 4 years of training there. Kelley continues to attend regular training events, to keep up to date with latest knowledge and findings in Homeopathy and will complete a 2 year post-grad CPD course on the Sensation and System in Homeopathy through the School of Homeopathy, Stroud, in early 2019.
Homeopathy is a holistic therapy, treating the person as a whole, rather than treating specific symptoms or disease labels. People may consult a homeopath having been given a medical diagnosis, or just with a feeling of 'not being right'. They may come with physical ailments, or with anxiety or phobias, with recurring conditions or chronic illness or acute ailments. A homeopath looks at the differences rather than the similarities, and will select for each individual a remedy which best matches that person's symptoms.
Initial consultations with Kelley last around an hour and a half for adults (slightly shorter for young children) and involve detailed case taking of the presenting symptom(s), personal health history and brief family health history. Follow-ups are usually at 4-6 week intervals and usually last around 45 minutes.
