During an extensive two-year trip around the world, Claire studied Thai Massage in Northern Thailand and became aware of Reiki. On her return, after taking Reiki 1, she enrolled on a Complementary Therapy Course and achieved ITEC Diplomas in Aromatherapy (credit), Reflexology (credit) and Body Massage.
Eleven years on and Claire has built a thriving private practice with many devoted regular clients.
Dedicated to continuing her professional and personal development, Claire has obtained over recent years Diplomas in On-Site Massage (distinction), Indian Head Massage, Auricular Therapy, La Stone Massage as well as Reiki 2 and 3 (Master/Teacher) She also holds certificates in teaching adult learners and assessing candidates.
Lecturing for Weston College for five years and teaching Reiki privately for seven years, has bought another element to the work that Claire performs. She has also written and delivered courses for WEA ,North Somerset and Bristol City Councils. Her enthusiasm for her work is infectious and she has inspired many clients and students to study and become practitioners and teachers themselves.
Claire also takes her On-Site Massage business out into the corporate world to help manage the ever-increasing tension hot spots. Employers gain a happy, healthy workforce and employees feel valued and rewarded.
As a fully insured member of The International Council of holistic Therapists through The Federation of Holistic Therapists and The Reiki Connection, Claire is able to remain informed on the latest changes in her profession.
