Bertrand graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in 1999. He has worked as a private osteopath in New Zealand and France before moving to the UK to work in Bristol in early 2011. 

He has also taught and supervised undergraduate and postgraduate osteopathy students in New Zealand and continues his teaching work through involvement in postgraduate lecturing in Belgium and France. He is particularly engaged in the teaching of visceral techniques and is currently co-authoring a book about visceral osteopathy after abdominal surgery.

Bertrand has particular knowledge and experience in the treatment of:

• Children and newborns
• Pregnant women
• Patients suffering from whiplash after a road accident or fall
• Professional musicians
• Sportspersons (while working in New Zealand, he provided treatment to members of the New Zealand rugby team)
• Treatment of internal organs by osteopathic techniques, which can be of great help for people suffering from post surgical disorders (pain, adhesion, constipation, infertility)
